IGDA Web Games whitepaper!

IGDA (International Game Developers Association) has released a very interesting document on the subject of Web/Downloadable games. The document is 93 pages long (!) and inspects many different aspects: market overview, businness models, technologies, publishers and much more.
Well worth reading!

It seems like Flex is not the only great news from Macromedia during these days!
Some great features for the next Flash version seem to be in progress down at MM!
Check this screenshot in the FlashKit board, it looks like all our 3D dreams will come true!

Realtime Multiplayer Source code

Jobe Makar, from Electrotank, has released the sources of his Pixel Cannon game, a realtime multiplayer game presented in San Francisco for the Flash Forward 2004 conference.
The demo is made up of the game engine, the Electroserver plugin and even a level editor for custom game maps.
